In April 2026, the library basement flooded. We had to move our Children and Teens collections upstairs and into a temporary Book Shed. The Book Shed is available for children and families to browse for youth books through Summer 2026.

The Book Shed is located on-site at the Kalkaska County Library in downtown Kalkaska. 247 S. Cedar St, Kalkaska, MI.
