Spring is here and it’s time to start your garden!

Join the Kalkaska Conservation District and the Kalkaska County Library for a community seed exchange. Bring your extra seeds, plant starts (fruits, veggies, herbs, & non-invasive flowers), and any gardening tips you wish to share.

Tuesday, April 7. 5:00-7:00pm
At the Kalkaska County Library.

This will be an “open house” style event, come and go anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

This event will also mark the kick off of the Seed Library. The Seed Library is a free resource available to Kalkaska County residents and will be available to the public from April 7 through summer in the Kalkaska County Library.

This event is totally FREE and open to the public. You do not need to come with seeds or be a resident of Kalkaska to participate.

Can’t make this swap? No problem!
We have plenty of opportunities for you to gather with other local gardeners this March:

Thursday, March 26 | 1-3 pm | Coldsprings Branch Library
Monday, March 30 | 1-3 pm | Garfield Branch Library
